Another Dr. Pepper fan...

Saturday, March 3

So my cousin, Laura Janisch, is the newest millionaire in Texas! She participated in Dr. Pepper's recent contest where she had to put together several historically based clues to find the golden Dr. Pepper coin. Now you can imagine what kind of obstacles she'll go up against with this huge change in her life--especially within the family. Already people are speculating whether the win is truly good for her or not and saying comments like, "So-and-so told me that so-and-so said not to tell me about anything." Blah! Come on people. Can't we just be happy for Laura? Who cares if this is going to affect her income taxes next year. Now she can pay whatever loans she may have out for college, travel like she's evidentally wanted to, and possibly even donate to an organization she feels passionate about. Those who might be jealous need to get out, brush up on their trivia and enter some contests...maybe Pepsi will be coming out with a contest....I on the other hand can't manage to win a simple radio contest....how DO you time it just right to be the 7 1/2 caller???

Angela,

I'm Rick from Chattanooga, Tennessee and was a participant in the Dr Pepper hunt.
I had figured out the clues that took us to Nashville but someone else got there 3 hours before us and found the coin. It's worth $100,000.
Please tell your cousin, we (several others who look for coins all over the U.S.) have a fourm and would love to have her join us.
It's at:

Thanks a million in advance!
